The maintenance cycle of car elevators mainly includes daily maintenance, quarterly maintenance, half-year maintenance and annual maintenance.
Daily maintenance: This is the most basic maintenance work and needs to be performed every day. It mainly includes checking the appearance of the elevator, cleaning the car, checking whether the emergency stop button and alarm device are normal, and ensuring the smooth opening and closing of the elevator door. Daily maintenance can detect and deal with small problems in time to prevent the problem from expanding.
Quarterly maintenance: It is carried out once a quarter, mainly including a detailed inspection of the electrical system, control system, and drive system of the elevator. Inspection items include cable wear, contact points of contactors, operating temperature of motors, oil level of reducers, etc. Quarterly maintenance helps to ensure the stable operation of elevators under seasonal changes.
Half-year maintenance: A more comprehensive inspection and maintenance is carried out every six months. This includes testing the elevator's safety devices (such as speed limiters, safety clamps, buffers, etc.), checking the wear of key components such as the elevator's guide rails, wire ropes, and car suspension systems, and the status of the lubrication system. Half-year maintenance helps to discover potential safety hazards and prevent them in advance.
Annual maintenance: This is the most comprehensive and in-depth maintenance work, usually performed once a year. Annual maintenance includes a thorough inspection and necessary replacement of all elevator components, such as replacing worn parts, cleaning the lubrication system, and checking the elevator's load capacity. In addition, annual maintenance should also include an evaluation of the overall performance of the elevator to ensure that the elevator can operate safely and reliably in the following year.
